INSTRUCTIONS RAM can be used as a mild spray solution or full strength wash. Just adjust the strength to fit your particular cleaning job. Start with the recommended dilutions, but you may find it necessary to use more or less cleaner to adjust to varying cleaning problems. For the small job, apply RAM to damp cloth or sponge and wipe. For the very tough job on hard surfaces dilute RAM 2 to 10 and use Scotch Brite scour pad as needed on barbecue grills, stoves, burners, ovens, grates, pots and pans and buildup of soap, mold and mildew on bathroom shower area. Recreational equipment such as vans, campers, boats, RVs, tents, sleeping bags, hunting, fishing and sporting equipment can benefit from the use of RAM for exterior cleaning problems, and interior cleaning of carpets, ovens, upholstery and mildew. Great for removing tree stains, mildew, mold and dirt from portable awnings on mobile homes and semi-tractors. Great for any baked-on enamel surface. PLEASE NOTE: Never use Ram on anything that is not washable, i.e. dry clean items. We do not recommend use of RAM on any item colored with red pigment or paint. Always test spot in an inconspicuous place.
GENERAL CLEANING RAM diluted 2 oz. to 30 oz. of water is a General All Purpose Cleaning Mixture. Spray your counter-tops, furniture, paneling, wood-work walls, upholstery, appliances, light fixtures, ceramics, stainless steel, patio and pool furniture, Venetian blinds and any metal surface. Spray mist and wipe dry. RAM may be used full strength for tough problems such as rust, road tar, driveway cleaning, degreasing car engines, glue and soap buildup. Apply to area to be cleaned and let stand for up to five minutes, then wipe off with clean cloth. On any metal surface such as motorcy-des, house siding, autos and trucks, etc., do not use full strength in hot sun or while surface is hot, let it cool down, spray with cold water hose and then apply RAM, hose again.
CLEANING SMEAR PROOF WINDOWS & MIRRORS 1. Apply RAM
diluted 1 oz. to 1 gallon (128 oz.), or 1/4 oz. to 1 quart (32
oz.) water with spray mist or cloth.
PLASTIC, PLEXIGLASS, FIBERGLASS & VINYL RAM diluted 2 oz. to 30 oz. water is an excellent cleaner of all plastic products, for porous and textured surfaces. Use a soft brush for problem areas.
CARPETING NOTE: Always test for colorfastness when using RAM on carpets, upholstery, fabrics, and spot cleaning. RAM can also be used to clean carpeting, either as an individual stain spot, or can be used to do an entire room. Some of the common stains RAM can remove are: grease, wine, liquor, soda, pet stains, gum, oil, coffee, glue, paint, grape juice, candle wax, some inks, vomit, water stains and hair dye. TO REMOVE STAINS FROM CARPETING 1. Spray a
solution of 2 parts RAM to 30 parts water onto stain; let it stand for 20
seconds. TO REMOVE CHEWING GUM, CANDLE WAX OR HARD GLUE 1. Take a
pin or sharp instrument and punch holes in object. TO CLEAN CARPET WITHOUT MACHINE 1. Vacuum
carpet. TO CLEAN CARPET WITH MACHINE (Machine with rotary brushes is best) 1. Vacuum
carpet.
The use of hot water or "steam extraction" systems have shown considerable growth in past years. Often referred to as "steam" cleaning, this system does not actually use steam, but rather hot water under pressure. This hot water is immediately vacuumed up, bringing with it loosened and dissolved soil. RAM is excellent for this type of cleaning. Dilute RAM 2 oz to 30 oz. of water for this type of cleaning. If heavily soiled, you may want to go to a 2 oz. RAM to 15 oz. of water mixture.
(Diamonds, Gold, Silver) For the ultimate cleaning and care of fine jewelry, RAM is a must. Dilute 2 oz. RAM to 10 oz. water in a bowl or jar. Immerse jewelry for five minutes. Remove and scrub with old toothbrush. Rinse with water and buff dry with cotton cloth. The shine and sparkle will amaze you. SWIMMING POOLS RAM will remove sun tan lotions and body oils from upper walls of pool interior. Dilute RAM 2 oz. to 30 oz. water, spray on sponge and rub walls. Before painting pool, RAM will remove dirt and grime from pool surface and is an excellent prepaint bonder. Dilute RAM 2 oz. to 30 oz. of water, stronger if desired. Scrub surface with brush and hose off.
TO CLEAN FURNITURE UPHOLSTERY & AUTO INTERIOR Note: Always test for colorfastness when using RAM on carpets, upholstery, fabrics and spot cleaning. 1. Vacuum
area to be cleaned.
TO CLEAN VENETIAN BLINDS 1. Remove
blinds.
TO CLEAN VINYL & CONVERTIBLE TOPS 1. Dilute
RAM 2 oz. to 30 oz. water. If heavily soiled, 2 oz. RAM to 10 oz. water.
FOR PRE-WASH & LAUNDRY To boost cleaning power of regular detergents (powder or liquid) on grass stained clothes, work clothes, diapers, grease spots or heavily soiled clothes, add 2 oz. RAM with regular load. For tough stains, dilute RAM 2 parts to 10 parts water and moisten problem area, rub in and wait a few minutes, put in laundry as usual.
TO CLEAN BOATS, MOTORCYCLES, ETC. 1. Dilute
RAM 2 oz. to 10 oz. water.
TO CLEAN CONCRETE DRIVEWAYS (Do not use on asphalt) Dilute RAM 2 oz. to 30 oz. water. If heavily soiled, dilute RAM 2 oz. to 10 oz. water. Use a strong bristle brush. You may have to repeat if concrete is rough and grease has worked into rough area. Allow five to ten minutes to break up soil and hose off. Repeat if necessary. If fresh oil has absorbed into concrete it may leave a wet look although all surface oil is removed. Let dry a few days in hot sun and repeat. If concrete has totally absorbed soil, you will not be able to remove the stain.
TO CLEAN METAL SURFACES For mobile homes, aluminum sidings, gutters, camping trailers, RV’s and semi-tractor washing. 1. Dilute
RAM 2 oz. to 30 oz. water. (If oxidation, mildew, grease, oil or
diesel oil is present dilute 1 oz. to 10 oz. water.)
TO CLEAN FLOORS Cleans all washable floors, including no-wax floors, linoleum, vinyl, ceramic tile, and all smooth painted and unpainted surfaces. 1. Dilute RAM 2 oz. to 30
oz. water or 8 oz. per gallon in warm water.
TO STRIP LINOLEUM, TILE & WOOD FLOORS 1. Dilute
RAM 2 oz. to 10 oz. water. TO CLEAN AIR CONDITIONING COIL A dirty condenser coil is a major source of compressor failure. RAM can help you avoid this costly procedure. 1. Turn
power switch off.
TO DEGREASE CAR ENGINES 1. Dilute
RAM 1 part to 5 parts water.
TO CLEAN OVENS, STOVES & GRILLS 1. Heat up
to 110 degrees. HELPFUL HINTS Use Terry cloth towel for best results. After cleaning vinyl or wood with RAM, use lemon oil or petroleum jelly to bring back the natural shine. Never use in direct sunlight or under hot lights.
